Aino Sirje knew that she wanted to be an actress at the age of 14 when she saw a theatre play ”Populaarimusiikkia Vittulajänkältä” at Kuopio City Theatre. She studied drama at high school and after graduating she did one year acting program at Niittylahti training collage for performing arts.
During a year-long backpacking trip in South America she learned Spanish and decided to go to Spain to continue with acting studies. She studied at La Casona Theatre Academy of Barcelona over the years 2011-2014. Among Stanislavsky acting method she studied modern dance, voice technique, acrobatics, ballet and street dances.
After finishing her studies at La Casona she got into Meisner Technique and studied with Javier Gallitó-Cava during the years 2014-2017 while already working as a professional actress.
By now she has made several short movies (Mi noche con María 2014, Prozac 2015 and Madeleine 2017 among others), three feature films (Evolution 2014, Brava 2016 and It Came From The Desert 2017) as well as theatre plays, fashions films and cabaret-shows. She has also been modeling for Vogue Spain, Desigual, Bimba Y Lola and Antonio Garrido.
Among acting she is interested in many other fields of art. She has passion for modern cinema and visual arts. Lately she have been investigating performance art by attending workshops in Oslo, The Hague and Venice and also performing at the Performance Art Festival The Hague 2017.
Among arts, sport practice has always been important to her: she enjoys horseback riding, snowboarding, skating and swimming.
